Young Professionals Luncheon

Where: SW MN Regional Airport (1650 W College Dr)

Tour at the Southwest Minnesota Regional Airport 

Join us in October to tour alongside the opening of a hangar, gain basic information as to process, requirements, and different certifications that are available and learn about what it takes to get a private pilot license!

Small Business Administration Disaster Loans

Disaster Field Operations Center East

SBA Physical Damage Application Deadline is Oct. 29 for Minnesota Residents Affected by Summer Severe Storms, Straight-Line Winds, Tornadoes and Flooding

ATLANTA - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) encourages businesses of all sizes, private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters to apply for a disaster loan before the Oct. 29 deadline. Anyone in the declared counties in Minnesota with damages caused by the severe storms, straight-line winds, tornadoes and flooding from June 15 through July 12, 2018 should apply for the SBA disaster loan assistance.
The disaster declaration covers The declaration covers Lyon and Redwood counties, and the adjacent counties of Brown, Cottonwood, Lincoln, Murray, Pipestone, Renville, Yellow Medicine and the tribal governments of the Lower Sioux Indian Community and the Upper Sioux Community in Minnesota.

Chamber E-Connection Guidelines and Policies

Newsletter Goals and Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our members' events with  other business and community members. It is an informational newsletter and helps to promote  our member businesses and their events.
Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to  the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.

Newsletter Policy
E-Connection events are included based on requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
  • Events flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We do not include sales or promotions.
  • Events can be included in the E-Connection for one week free of charge,
    and you have the option of adding one additional week for $10. 
  • Submissions must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's
    E-Connection to be included to chamber@marshallmn.org

  • All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only. 
Any Chamber member businesses events can be submitted to
the Chamber website as well here. Click submit new event.
