Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) Comments Accepted Through August 5
East-West Gateway Council of Governments is developing the region’s next  Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)  and  Air Quality Conformity Determination (AQCD) . The TIP is a four-year schedule of all transportation projects in the region receiving federal dollars. The AQCD is an analysis to demonstrate that future emissions from transportation projects and program in the TIP fall within federal and state air quality implementation plans.

The draft version of the 2020-2023 TIP and related air quality documents is available on the East-West Gateway’s website and open for public comment from June 28 through August 5.

Millions of dollars are programmed for important surface transportation projects in St. Charles County and local municipalities.   Click here to access a complete list of the projects in the region.  You can view a list of the projects for St. Charles County by clicking on St. Charles County and each of the municipalities in St. Charles County.

Help St. Charles County Become a "Work Ready Community"
Thanks to your support, St. Charles County is getting closer to our certification as a “Work Ready Community” which will help us attract and retain businesses.

Your continued support is needed. We have just found out that  EVERY  company counts as 1 whereas before a company with less than 4 employees was only counted as .25.   BUT  you will need to pledge again.

PLEASE take a moment to pledge again : https://www.workreadycommunities.org/business/form

If you have never pledged, please consider doing so. Employers embracing a common language around workforce skill requirements is a crucial part of the Work Ready Communities effort. Community goals include a measure of business engagement. It takes less than 5 minutes.
