Ameren Upgrading Meters
Effective July – October 2020
for cities of St. Charles, Portage des Sioux, West Alton, St. Peters and parts of St. Charles County served by Ameren Missouri’s St. Charles Operating Center
Ameren Missouri  will be replacing outdated meters over the next several years. They will be beginning in St. Charles / St. Peters area in the next month. Please watch this short video explaining the program.

BE AWARE of potential scams. Ameren representatives WILL NOT ask for money in order to replace the meter and their representatives will be wearing badges.

Also, Ameren wants to minimize the impact on business. Businesses will be able to schedule a time to have their meter replaced as power will be interrupted briefly during the replacement.
