Done in conjunction with Ken Tucker and ChangeScape web, members of the St. Charles Regional Chamber have the opportunity to share their successes, their stories, and their challenges. Podcasts are published on Apple, Spotify, through the Chamber's facebook page, in this very e-newsletter and through the Local St. Charles (news section) on the Chamber's website.

Lindenwood University Unveils New Esports Arena with Ribbon Cutting


Lindenwood University unveiled the new Jim Trenary ESports Arena at Lindenwood University with a ribbon cutting on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.

Attending the event was Lindenwood University President John Porter, Jim Trenary and family, St. Charles Mayor Dan Borgmeyer, and Ambassadors with the St. Charles Regional Chamber.

With representatives of the eight Esports teams and their coaches on site, the new Esports venue features a mothership gaming system, smaller monitors for multiple players to play and individual computers for single player matches. The program is split into two groups: Varsity, which is reserved for our flagship teams and complete in official collegiate leagues and The Community Club is open to any LU student who enjoys video games and wants to play against other students.


The LU Esports also hosts LAN tournaments and watch parties for their own Varsity teams as well as professional events. Students who see themselves as competitive gamers and are on a path to becoming a professional player may be eligible for scholarships.
