Santa's North Pole Dash
|
We're looking for a few good volunteers to help put on our 8th annual Santa's North Pole Dash, to be held on Saturday, December 1st.
The 5K run and 1-Mile Walk starts on Riverside Drive at Pike Street with the pancake breakfast to be held in Frontier Park by the Katy Depot.
Children's Snowman Shuffle is held at 8 am on Riverside Drive at Jefferson.
All volunteers will receive a themed shirt on the morning of the run at the Volunteer check in booth.

for our Citizen of the Years and
Lifetime Distinguished Service Awards

We are seeing nominations designed to recognize the
lifelong achievements
of a citizen for actions, generosity and service, broad-based community involvement in a non-paid position, and leadership in organizations above and beyond the call of duty on behalf of the community.
|
|
For those interested in submitting a nomination, please use the form located to the right and fill out a nomination for each individual separately. You may provide up to two (2) typewritten pages on why you believe the nominee is deserving of the award. Letters of support are also encouraged.
Also tell us what category you are nominating for based on the following: Citizen of the Years, Lifetime Distinguished Service - Civic, Lifetime Distinguished Service - Cultural or Lifetime Distinguished Service - Humanitarian.

Proposition D increases the motor fuel tax by 2.5-cents per year for the next four years to help fund the Missouri Highway Patrol and provided additional monies for cities and counties for road improvements.

The October Lunch with Leaders was held on Wednesday, October 17th at Bogey Hills Country Club. It was a packed house, with over 140 in attendance.
City of St. Charles Mayor Sally Faith gave a City update; complete with road construction projects, progress on the Proposition P improvements and new businesses expanding into the area.
In honor of Entrepreneur Week, Lindenwood University was proud to introduce Clifton Taulbert
n American author, business consultant and speaker. Best known for his book, "Who Owns the Ice House," Taulbert and his book are the inspiration for the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program, at Hammond Institute, Duree Center for Entrepreneurship.
