JULY 2020 EDITION
~ Directors Corner ~
Greetings Chamber Members and Friends!

The Lake of the Ozarks community continues to stay top of mind to many visitors near and far. As we enter July the Chamber Office continues to receive a record number of calls for request on tourism industry related services. To better assist our team, if you are an accommodation member, please connect with us sharing your availability for the coming weeks so we can better serve you and better refer those guests.

The Lake Area Chamber continues to actively participate in various regional committees and task forces leading efforts to assist our members. Although we received great feedback from our Tri-County Business Survey in April we also understand that during these times business challenges are changing ever so quickly. With that being said, please connect with me to provide any updates that can be shared with these working groups. I am proud of the collaboration taking place in our community and there are some great individuals working together to support you in any way possible.

Thank you for your continued support of the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and to OUR community. We hope you have a safe and wonderful Holiday Weekend!

#WeAreTheLake

Sincerely,
K.C. Cloke
Executive Director – Lake Area Chamber of Commerce
Join us for our weekly “Member Connect” zoom meeting Wednesdays at 9 am where we'll share and discuss current efforts taking place to assist our business and community members. When available, we’ll hear updates from our local community leaders including elected officials to share updates as well. Lastly, this is a great opportunity to network with your fellow chamber members and peers! As a participant you’ll have an opportunity to introduce yourself, your company, and share the latest happenings of your business.
"The Lake Area Chamber Member Connect is a wonderful way to not only stay connected with others, but to stay updated on the current local and State events, news, and reports. LOTS of great information and people…a MUST attend for business owners."
