Happy Anniversary: Alternative Landscaping is celebrating their 20th year in business this year. Congratulations Alternative!
New K-8 School: Premier Brian Pallister announced that a new K-8 school is being built in Brandon, which will be designed by one of our members, MCM Architects. The school is expected to open in Fall 2020. Read about it here.
Credit Union Merger: Sunrise Credit Union is pleased to announce they are in discussions to merge operations with Strathclair Credit Union, effective January 1st, 2019. Read the press release here.
Community Leaders: The Brandon Sun is looking for nominees for their Community Leader Awards that have made a positive contribution to the Brandon community. Deadline to nominate is on April 30th, and can be done online here.

State of the Province - Last week the Brandon Chamber of Commerce hosted Premier Brian Pallister at our annual State of the Province Luncheon. This event had over 450 Chamber members attend as the Premier told them what is in store for Manitoba over the next year.
Comeau Decision - The Canadian Chamber of Commerce has released a statement in response to the Supreme Court decision on R v Comeau.
