Come out to the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Museum for Palaeo-Palooza, a community geared festival of events designed to celebrate our natural history and learn how that has helped shape the world as we see it today. We have split our festival into four, day long events taking place July 17, July 31, August 14 and August 21, from 11 am to 4 pm!
On July 17 join us for Water World! Hunt for and learn about water critters, attend the opening of the Burgess Shale Exhibit, hear guest speaker Rick Scott, crafts and more!
Discover the amazing flying creatures "High in the Sky" on July 31! This Palaeo-Palooza event will feature pterosaur kites and crafts, an introduction to bird watching, and a talk by our own Dr. Corwin Sullivan!”
Come "Down to Earth" with us on August 14! Follow in the footsteps of the amazing creatures that have walked this ground with activities for the whole family!
Get “Fired Up” on August 21 and end the summer with a bang! Learn about volcanoes, watch a big volcano erupt, build your own, hunt dinosaurs, BBQ lunch at Pipestone and see a demonstration at the Bonebed by local palaeontologist Matthew Vavrek.
