Klinker's Lumber and Builders Supplies  receives state recognition

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted and the Ohio Senate's 132nd General Assembly recently recognized and commended Klinker's Lumber and Builders Supplies in Waverly on its 70th anniversary celebration.

Klinker's Lumber and Builders Supplies located at 100 W. Seventh Street in Waverly celebrated its 70th anniversary by hosting a three-day customer appreciation sales event on Oct. 25, 26 and 27.

Klinker's Certificate of Commendation from the Secretary of State reads in part: "This Certificate of Commendation is tendered on behalf of the people of the State of Ohio as a small token of their sincere gratitude and admiration for your exemplary work and devotion to establishing and growing a business here in Ohio. Since opening your doors, you have focused on staying ahead of the times and giving back to the community... "

Klinker's certificate from the General Assembly of the State of Ohio commends the business as well: "Since its establishment, the owners, management, and staff of Klinker's Lumber and Builders Supplies have consistently demonstrated exemplary professionalism and expertise, as well as an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of commerce and customer service. They are responsible for the sustained prosperity of this third-generation family enterprise, which provides patrons with comprehensive building and hardware supplies stocked in a 17,000-square-foot drive-through warehouse. Due to the tremendous effort and initiative they have displayed, this noteworthy venture has maintained its success during the past 70 years, and it is certainly deserving of high praise ... "
