Bliss Holiday Boutique and Luncheon is SOLD OUT

Tickets are now SOLD OUT for our Women's Biz Net Bliss Holiday Boutique & Luncheon this Thursday at Makray Memorial Golf Club. The event features shopping with unique vendors, live holiday entertainment from the Barrington High School Madrigals and renowned Violinist Martin Lopez, a FREE shopping bag, and a delicious buffet lunch. Network with YPs & Mentors on Nov. 30 at Francesca's

All Chamber members are invited to join the BACC Young Professionals and Mentors for some casual networking on Thursday, Nov. 30 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Francesca's Famiglia at 100 E. Station St. in Barrington. Members pay for their own refreshments.

This is a FREE event and walk-ins are welcome, but an RSVP is appreciated.

Learn how to get the most out of your BACC membership while networking with other members at our FREE Boot Camp this Friday, Dec. 8 from 12:00-1:15 pm at the Chamber office, 190 E. James St. in Barrington.

Annual Dinner is Jan. 25 - Sign up to Attend - Silent Auction Donations Needed

Join BACC as we start the year "Groovin' into 2024" at our Annual Dinner and Scholarship Fundraiser on Thursday, Jan. 25 from 6:00-9:30 pm at Avante Banquets in Fox River Grove. The event includes a silent auction, great food, networking and live music. Proceeds support the BACC Student Scholarship Fund and Small Business Programming.

Small Business Resources
IL Dept. of Commerce Offers Tourism Private Sector Grants - Apply by Dec. 4

The Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity announced it will provide grants for attracting, hosting and developing new events and festivals in Illinois or enhancing existing festivals and events. Grantees must be able to match grant award dollar-for dollar; however, up to 25% of the required match may be substituted with in-kind contributions. Costs associated with hosting existing or repeat events and festivals will not be eligible unless documentation can be provided that the event was secured in direct competition with other states or significant enhancements will be made to the event/festival to increase attendance from travel outside 50 miles. Applications are due Monday, Dec. 4. For details CLICK HERE.
SBA Closes IL Business Recovery Centers

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has permanently closed its four Business Recovery Centers in Illinois. The centers were created to assist Illinois businesses and residents affected by severe storms and flooding which occurred June 29-July 2, 2023. The disaster declaration covers Cook County in Illinois, which is eligible for both Physical and Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) from the SBA. Small businesses and most private nonprofit organizations in the following adjacent counties are eligible to apply only for SBA EIDLs: DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Will in Illinois.
