Remember to sign up for the 60-second commercial for any announcements you may have. Members are encouraged to distribute business cards, brochures or related material and network with attendees. Anyone can bring a door prize for the drawing, if desired.
Keith Beitler
Everyone is invited to attend the 43rd Annual Liberty-Dayton Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 startling at 6:30 p.m. at the Dayton Community Center (801 S. Cleveland Street).

This year's keynote speaker will be Keith W. Beitler, Senior VP & COO, Specialty Restaurant & Theme Park Divisions and International Franchising – Landry’s Restaurants, Inc. Mr. Beitler has a long and distinguished career in the restaurant industry, having served with Landry's since 1995. His early career included 14 years with Gallagher's Restaurant, Inc. in Houston where he became a General Manager at the age of 20, and later serving as V.P. of Food Service and Transportation for F.F.P. Operating Partners, an oil & gas company in Ft. Worth, Texas for 9 years.

With Landry's he currently oversees the daily operation of property management including business planning, supervision of personnel and the implementation of company policies and procedures for nearly 80 properties and over 450 store managers. Some of these restaurants and locations, under the Specialty Restaurant Division, include Chick-fil-A Express, Kemah Boardwalk, Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, T-Rex Cafe (which is one of the highest volume Disney restaurant units) and Rainforest Cafe (which includes stores in 4 Disney Parks). Mr. Beitler also oversees 26 international locations that stretch across the globe and all Landry’s international related commerce and franchising.

City of Liberty Municipal Judge Mike Little will serve as Master of Ceremonies. Outgoing Directors for 2018 will be honored and the recipients of the 2018 Citizen of the Year Award for Dayton and for Liberty will be announced.

Health Centers of Southeast Texas now offers Behavioral Health Services in their Cleveland, Liberty, Livingston and Shepherd offices. The new services include individual counseling for children 4 years and older; adolescents and adults; family counseling; depression and anxiety management; anger management; substance abuse counseling for 12 years and older; chemical dependency education; and telepsychiatry services. Stop by after work and browse the shops along Sam Houston Street in Liberty during the monthly Third Thursday on Sam Houston Street. Participating shops in the 1800 block of Sam Houston (near the courthouse square) are open late every third Thursday of the month with great deals, food and live music. A prime opportunity to help support some of our local businesses!
Liberty Dayton Regional Medical Center will host their annual Men's Health Fair at the hospital (1353 N. Travis in Liberty) on Saturday, January 26th starting at 8 a.m. Several free services will be offered including CBC,CMP, PSA blood screenings, blood pressure checks and Lipid. Twin Lakes, a privately owned and maintained 35-acre resort in Cleveland, has installed several new features and updates to their facilities including a new front entrance with stone wall and gate, a stone fire pit (for those chilly winter evenings) and two water fountains in the lakes.
