2019 CHAMBER AWARDS BANQUET - RECAP
A large crowd turned out for the Chamber's 43rd Annual Awards Banquet on Tuesday, February 26th at the Dayton Community Center. The highlight of the evening was the announcement of Citizen of the Year for Dayton and Liberty. Julie Campbell was the winner for Dayton, and Frank Jordan the winner for Liberty.

Mike Little served as emcee for the evening's events. Incoming Chamber directors were announced, and outgoing directors for 2018 were honored with plaques. Past Chairman Sandra Sterling presented the gavel to incoming Chairman Bryan Reynolds. Sonja Bruzauskas provided the vocals for the National Anthem and later led the crowd in "God Bless America".

Keith W. Beitler of Landry's Inc. served as guest speaker for this year's event.

The offices of U.S. Senator John Cornyn, U.S. Rep. Brian Babin and State Rep. Ernest Bailes were also represented at the banquet.

The Chamber wishes to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the evening, our many sponsors, elected officials, guest speaker Keith W. Beitler and all who worked to make this year's banquet a great success. Thanks to Best Hospice Care of Texas and Laura Winegeart for donating the cinnamon rolls.
