May 5, 2026

Despite a year marked by economic uncertainty and change, the Chamber finished the 2025–2026 fiscal year strong, demonstrating resilience, growth, and member confidence. Membership remained solid with 599 members, an 83% retention rate, and 111 new members, while engagement stayed high through 70 events attracting nearly 3,800 attendees.

The Chamber expanded its visibility and impact through increased communications reach, the launch of Community Impact Day, and continued success of the Dune Dollars program, which circulated nearly $259,000 locally. Financially stable with an 8% operating margin and diversified revenue, the Chamber also invested in future leadership and workforce development through Foundation programs.

Together, members, volunteers, board, and staff helped the Chamber not only navigate uncertainty but advance through it.

AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT

Chamber Ambassador Abe Miller is the District Manager for Greatwater 360 Autocare covering all West Michigan from Grand Haven to Lansing. Greatwater 360 is the parent brand of locally owned and operated Dykstra’s Auto at 14504 172nd Avenue, Grand Haven.

Abe has two main goals he hopes to accomplish by serving as a Chamber Ambassador. “First, I wanted to give back to the community that has been so great to live and work in,” said Abe. “Second, I wanted to engage and learn from other local leaders in the ambassador committee.”

Abe has 4 kids. The older ones are all in sports and he enjoys helping to coach baseball in the summer with the Tri-City Kids league.

“In 2018, I started with Greatwater 360 Autocare (locally known as Dykstra’s auto) managing the Grand Haven location,” said Abe. “After running the Grand Haven location for two years, I moved into acquisitions with Greatwater and we grew the business from 5 to 150 shops across the US.”

Abe traveled a lot across many states and cities but loves to call Grand Haven his ‘home.’

“I realized quickly that there is no other community quite like the Tri-Cities and as of January 2025, I decided to return to my roots and take a position as a district manager for Greatwater, covering the West MI market,” said Abe.

“At Dykstra’s Auto, we aim to be your local community-based auto repair shop, capable of all automotive needs, from oil changes, to brake and engine replacements. While you won’t see us in a super bowl ad, you will see our names on the backs of Peach Plains Panther basketball, Tri-City kids league, Young Bucks jerseys and our floats in the Jingle Bell and Coast Guard parades.”
