AUTOMATIC DRIVER'S LICENSE EXTENSIONS NOW A THING OF THE PANDEMIC PAST
With state offices reopening, make sure you keep an eye on your expiration dates for all personal and commercial driver’s licenses and permits.

The governor rescinded the emergency proclamations which placed a temporary hold on renewals being necessary for the past couple of years.

Remember, the Chamber office does not handle personal or commercial driver’s license renewals, so head to the DOL website to make an appointment at a location nearby

KITSAP BUSINESS SURVEY
As a special edition of our County-wide surveys, this week the Bainbridge Chamber asks all local business owners to give feedback to the State Chamber (The Association of Washington Business, or AWB)

The survey is anonymous and employers are not identified.

Results will be shared with state and federal lawmakers, the Kitsap Chambers and the public at large to help us all better understand the needs and challenges of the business community.

BIZ TIPS: WOMEN EMPOWERED BUSINESS
Did you know that until 1988 state laws prohibited women from obtaining their own business loans?

After The Women’s Business Ownership Act was signed into law, a whole new chapter emerged and financially empowered women to create, operate and grow their own businesses.

Between 2007 and 2018 women entrepreneurs have grown by 58%. For Black women-owned businesses, the growth rate is 164%.

Our new Chamber Champions program updates the old Chairman's Circle, and recognizes those on and around Bainbridge who help us do what we do, and so, to our Champions - we salute you!
