HIDDEN GEM BREAK-IN SOUNDS WARNING BELL FOR LOCAL BUSINESSES
|
On Sunday night, Winslow Mall’s Hidden Gem was unfortunately broken into and robbed of many gemstones and valuable jewelry pieces.
The theft occurred in the early morning hours, with entry gained by shattering the glass front door.
Heather Jaynes and the Hidden Gem team are already working with the police and her insurance company, but if you saw or heard anything downtown between 1am and 4am on Sunday night/Monday morning, please reach out to the BIPD.
You might also consider dropping by the store or Hidden Gem website and supporting them with a purchase or two to help out in this difficult time.
Business owners, this just might be a timely reminder to double check that your:
- Business Insurance
- Security System
- Motion-activated Cameras
are all up-to-date and in full working order.
