Registration is now open for the 2023 BACC 9-hole Golf League at Makray Memorial Golf Club. Golfers tee off weekly on Fridays between 6:30 and 7:15 am, allowing them time to get back to the office by 9:30 am. Men and women of all skill levels are welcome, non Chamber members can join the league too.

Each year the BACC Women's Biz Net honors four local women as Outstanding Women Leaders (OWLs) at an awards luncheon in September. The award was created to recognize women for their inspiring work in one of four categories: Community Impact – giving back and making an impact on the Barrington Area community; Mentorship and Education – mentoring and improving the lives of others through education; Nonprofit Leadership – working to provide important resources to the community and excelling an important cause; and Professional Excellence – excelling in their profession and setting the standard in their field. To nominate a local woman leader, click the link to download a form.

The Illinois SBDC at College of Lake County will host a FREE webinar for small businesses this Thursday, March 16 from 10:00-11:15 am. A second webinar will take place on Thursday, June 15. Representatives from the Small Business Administration, Illinois Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity, Internal Revenue Service, and the Small Business Advocacy Council will provide updates on agency funding programs, policies, and legislation affecting small businesses.
