Ribbon Cutting on Thursday

Join us for a ribbon cutting to celebrate new BACC member gigi Wine Bar & Bistro at 131 Park Ave. in Barrington on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 4:00 pm. All are invited to come welcome and show their support for this new restaurant.
Last Call for Players in the Golf Classic at Wynstone

There are only a few spots left to play in the BACC Golf Classic at The Club at Wynstone on Monday, Aug. 7. The 18-hole scramble event helps support the BACC Lauren Brown Memorial Scholarship fund and small business programming. This popular event includes lunch, contests, raffle prizes, awards, and a celebratory dinner with open bar. Premier Sponsor is Idealease, Inc.
Donate to WBN Gift Card Drive for Local Food Pantries

The BACC Women's Biz Net is requesting monetary donations in any amount for its annual drive to support local food pantries now through Aug. 31.

Please consider helping area families in need by donating $10 or more to be used for the purchase of grocery gift cards that will be distributed to local food pantries.
RSVP for Multi-Chamber Mixer at Signarama Aug. 15

All BACC members are invited to a Multi-Chamber Ribbon Cutting & Mixer to celebrate the new location of Signarama at 28039 W. Commercial Ave., Ste. 1 in Lake Barrington. Join us on Tuesday, Aug. 15 from 5:00-7:00 pm for an open house and after hours networking with members of the Barrington Area, Cary-Grove and Lake Zurich Chambers.

This is a FREE event for Chamber members, but an RSVP is appreciated.
Vendor Space Going Fast for the Family Expo on Aug. 19

Connect with hundreds of families in the Barrington area as a vendor at our Family Expo on Saturday, Aug. 19 from 12:00-4:00 pm in Citizens Park.

A few vendor spots are still available for businesses ($225), or nonprofit organizations ($100). Fees include assigned space on park grounds. All vendors must supply their own setup, canopy, weights, tables etc.
Register for FREE Boot Camp at the Chamber on Aug. 25

Learn how to get the most out of your BACC membership while networking with other members at our FREE Boot Camp on Friday, Aug. 25 from 12:00-1:15 pm at the Chamber office, 190 E. James St. in Barrington.
 
A complimentary lunch will be provided by sweetgreen. Seating is limited to 15 and priority is given to first-time attendees. Registration is required. 
Call for Vendors at Pepper Park Fest on Sept. 23

Vendors spots are now open for Pepper Park Fest on Saturday, Sept. 23 from 11:00 am-3:00 pm on N. Pepper Rd. in Lake Barrington. This fun family event will feature live music, kids activities, food & refreshments for purchase, local shopping at unique boutiques, vintage and resale shops, Barnfest at All American Reclaim and an Open House with "Touch a Truck" at the Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District.

Showcase Your Business as a TasteFest Vendor or Sponsor

Tasting & Spirit Vendors are wanted for the Barrington Area TasteFest on Wednesday, Oct. 18, from 5:00-8:00 pm at Wild Onion Brewery in Lake Barrington. This popular annual event attracts hundreds for a fun night of complimentary sampling from area restaurants, microbrewers, wineries and distillers. The evening includes live music and a chance to grab some fast-moving cash in the Barrington Bank & Trust Co. money machine. Guests are invited to cast their votes for the Best Taste Awards. Small Business Resources
Application Deadline for Best of America Small Business Awards is Sept. 10

Applications are now being accepted for the Best of America Small Business Awards, which were created to recognize the effort and talents of small businesses in our nation. There are more than 150 categories divided into six tracks designed to celebrate notable efforts in pushing the economy and communities forward. A set of qualified, independent judges will select the winning participants. The deadline to apply is Sept. 10. For details CLICK HERE.
Retirement Savings Program for Workers in Small & Medium Sized Businesses

Illinois Secure Choice is a retirement savings program for private-sector workers in small and medium-sized businesses who do not currently have a way to save at work. Registration is now open for all eligible employers to begin facilitating the program for their employees. The deadline for businesses to register is Nov. 1, 2023. For details CLICK HERE.
