Cantwell To Exit Stage Left at Bainbridge Performing Arts
Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) Executive Director Dominique Cantwell will transition to an emeritus role upon completing the renovation and expansion project at The Buxton Center for Bainbridge Performing Arts in September.
In Dominique's thirteen years, BPA has grown by leaps and bounds: Artistic excellence flourished, the theatre school expanded, programs diversified and blossomed during the pandemic, the dream of constructing the Buxton Center became reality, subscribers return with enthusiasm, and arts access is afforded to every member of our community through the Open Doors program.
Elizabeth Allum, BPA’s present Director of Education, will succeed Dominique as Executive Director this fall.

A flag retreat ceremony is planned for July 5 to mark the final lowering of the flag on the old pole - one which was installed to commemorate the life of local businessman (and faithful Chamber member) Walter Keys more than 60 years ago...
