Santaquin Canyon Road Reopens!

After years of anticipation, Santaquin Canyon Road is back! Join Mayor Olson and other community leaders this Monday, May 26th, at noon for the official ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Closed due to a massive avalanche and mudslide that brought down a wall of debris and damaged the road, culverts, and asphalt. This momentous occasion signifies not just the reopening of a road, but the reconnection to cherished outdoor experiences. Come celebrate this long-awaited return!

For those new to the area, head south on Center St. which turns into S Cyn Rd which takes you into the canyon. Drive about 3 miles to Trumbolt Picnic Area.

Come see all the incredible changes and celebrate the grand opening of Moments on Main. This location previously housed The Getaway Furniture store and you won't believe what it looks like now!!

Join us at 6 PM on June 5th for a ribbon cutting, music, refreshments, and several wedding vendors for those planning the big day.

These events generate unity and excitement in our community and we invite all to attend and support our new neighbor!

Cups Against Cancer Motorcycle Meet

Join us on Saturday, May 31, 2025, for the Cups Against Cancer Motorcycle Meet, honoring Craig Shipley's courageous fight against cancer.The ride starts at 10:00 AM from Salt Lake Harley Davidson, with stops at Summit Harley Davidson in Lindon and concluding at Menchie's Frozen Yogurt in Payson.Enjoy sweet treats and community support at the final destination.

Theater Camp – Salem Community Theater

Join us for an exciting Theater Camp from June 2–5 & 9–12 at Salem Elementary School Gym.Designed for young performers, sessions run 9 AM–12 PM for ages 8–10 and 1 PM–4 PM for ages 11–12.Registration opens March 18 through Salem Recreation Department.
