Rural Employment Development Incentive (REDI) – Boosting Jobs in Rural Utah

Learn More and Apply

The REDI program, offered through Utah’s Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO), supports businesses expanding or relocating to rural counties. Eligible companies can receive $4,000–$6,000 per new full-time job created, with a cap of $250,000 per year.

To qualify, jobs must pay at least 100% of the county's average wage and be sustained for at least 12 months. This grant aims to stimulate economic growth and job creation in Utah’s underserved rural areas.

The REDI grant is paid out over time and requires businesses to submit documentation verifying job creation and wage compliance.
