What an amazing night! Despite a little rain, our Young Entrepreneurs had a blast and everyone enjoyed a market filled with almost 70 booths of excited kids and adults with lots of baked goods, creativity, and other great treasures! The entertainment was incredible as well from the cast of

My Fair Lady, the Jimenez Family, and Jessica Jenson Vocal Studio students. It was a great event! Just a reminder that we are taking a break now until 8/11, be sure to mark your calendars!

Utah County Approves ICE Partnership

Utah County has officially activated a 287(g) agreement, allowing ICE access to jail data for immigration enforcement.

Supporters say it enhances public safety by removing dangerous criminals.

Critics argue it could discourage crime reporting among immigrant communities.

The sheriff emphasized the program will not involve street-level enforcement.

Community leaders are watching closely as implementation begins.

Utah small businesses can now expand globally with help from the STEP Grant, offered through World Trade Center Utah. With $525,000 available through September 2025, the grant reimburses costs for trade shows, export training, sales trips, and more.

Eligible businesses must be Utah-based, U.S.-owned, for-profit, and operating for at least one year with one full-time employee. Apply at least 15 business days before your activity.

It’s a great way to reach new markets and grow with less financial risk.
