Business After Hours hosted by Chris' Kettle Corn & Country Axe
Join us for Business After Hours from 4:30-6:30PM at Southbridge Mall hosted by Chris' Kettle Corn and Country Axe. Enjoy some great popcorn, throw some axes, and network with other business professionals. Attendees are invited to wear their Halloween costumes for the festivities. Face masks are recommended.

Professional Development on November 19
On Thursday, November 19, the Chamber will be hosting two opportunities for professional development at the Commerce Center.

At 8AM the popular Breaking Glass Leadership Series will feature Mason City native Sarah Stanton Kurz. Sarah will talk about starting her own business and working with clients in male-dominated industries. Her business philosophy is "Do not ASK for a seat at the table, pull out a chair and sit down." Click here to register.

Later, starting at 11:30AM, join us for CEO Conversations with Mark Hewitt, CEO of Clear Lake Bank & Trust. He will share his vast knowledge of leadership and experiences in his journey to becoming a CEO. This session is limited to 20 participants to encourage thoughtful, valuable conversations. Operation Thank You - Save the Date
Operation Thank You is just around the corner, and like many other things in 2020, this year’s event will look a little different. The Chamber is teaming up with First Citizens Bank to host an Operation Thank You Open House from 8AM-4:30PM on Thursday, December 10 at the Commerce Center.

Members are invited to drop by anytime to pick up their 2021 Membership Packet, enjoy some pre-packaged holiday treats, and celebrate the “good” that happened over the past year. More details to come!
Lt. Governor Visits YIELD Students
Last week, Lt. Governor Adam Gregg met with students from the 2020-21 YIELD class. Gregg shared his thoughts on leadership, as well as insight on what motivated him to seek a leadership position. The students enjoyed the opportunity to speak candidly with a state elected official.
