Chamber Annual Meeting This Thursday!
The time has come...the much anticipated premiere of the Chamber's Annual Meeting is this week! We can't wait to see you dressed in your finest Hollywood attire from 10:30AM-Noon on Thursday, October 1 at Cinema West Theatre in Mason City.

Starting at 10:30AM, walk the red carpet and get your photo taken by paparazzi before grabbing movie theatre popcorn and soda and heading into your theatre. The film, featuring award winners and Chamber highlights, begins promptly at 11AM. Attendees will be spread out in the 10 auditoriums to allow for physical distancing.

Tickets are available in advance and at the door for $25.
Network Walking - October 7
Break out of the traditional meeting room and try “Network-walking.” This activity builds meaningful connections and casual conversation on the move. The Worksite Wellness committee is hosting a Network-walking Day at 11AM on Wednesday, October 7 in Central Park!

In 2020, the Healthiest State Initiative invites all Iowans to Team Up for 10 – to help them celebrate 10 years of the annual event. We know that, due to COVID-19, your walk event may look different this year. We still invite you to "team up" – whether that means with members of your household, in a small group, in a socially-distant fashion or even as a virtual team – and walk for 30 minutes!

Wellness Tip
Autumn provides many family bonding activities. Apple picking, leaf pile jumping, hot cocoa snuggles, and pumpkin carving, to name a few! Family bonding is proven to decrease behavioral problems, improve attitude, and lead to healthier choices. Love pumpkins but hate carving? Here are a few alternatives.
