Hurricane Relief Donations for Lumberton Fayetteville Area

Good Morning Outer Banks Chamber members and friends! The Outer Banks was certainly blessed this past week with Hurricane Florence. While we are thankful for our good fortune our thoughts have turned to our many neighbors who are just beginning to access the devastation the storm brought to them.

The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce is collecting Gift Cards of any denomination from Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart and Food Lion to send to our friends in the Lumberton/Fayetteville area. This is only one area that has been impacted but one we feel may not be getting as much coverage as other areas. If you would like to donate a gift card, I would encourage you to put it with a note of encouragement for those folks going through this mess! Let them know we are thinking of them.

We have reached out to our contacts in these areas and will be mailing these gift cards out to the local United Way or Chamber of Commerce for distribution.

Gift cards may be dropped off at the chamber office at 101 Town Hall Drive, KDH or mailed to us at PO Box 1757, KDH. You may also donate via this link to our chamber website and we will purchase gift cards with the donations.
