Are you having trouble finding the Batesville Street Department COVID-19 vaccine site? While the Street Department garage is located at 514 S John Street, those with an appointment will need to enter our drive-thru clinic from Delaware Road. The garage is located behind the Knights of Columbus and across from the soccer fields. For detailed information on traffic flow and what you can expect at your upcoming appointment, visit us at mmhealth.org/covid-19.

Currently, the state of Indiana is scheduling COVID-19 vaccine appointments for Hoosiers over the age of 70 or those who work in health care, law enforcement or are first responders. If you qualify, schedule your appointment today by visiting ourshot.in.gov or calling 211. If you need help scheduling your appointment, contact your Margaret Mary Health primary care provider’s office for assistance. All vaccines are by appointment only. #thisisourshot

TOGETHER WE THRIVE - COVID-19 TOOLKIT

Certain at-risk Indiana residents are now eligible to get the coronavirus vaccine.

**New Changes Made By Congress in December 2020** SUMMARY: In December 27, 2020, new legislation was enacted to extend the life of a vital program available to Main Street businesses: the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). This new legislation creates a second round of PPP loans for eligible businesses, makes new businesses eligible for a firsttime PPP loan (as well as a second-draw loan), and makes other key programming changes.

UPDATED! Governor Holcomb announced new restrictions to assist in the COVID-19 battle:
  • A statewide cap on all gatherings to the size limits established based on a county’s COVID status (25 for a red county, 50 for an orange county, etc.). There will be no exceptions that can be granted by local health departments (through January 31)
  • Additional limitations on the number of participants allowed at K-12, college and professional sporting events (through January 31)
A recent executive order contains a provision requiring all Indiana businesses to “place clearly visible signage at their public and employee entrances notifying that face coverings are required for all individuals entering the business.”

COVID-19 INDIANA - COUNTY GUIDELINES BY COLORED
The Indiana Department of Health has established a color-coded county map that measures weekly cases per 100,000 residents and the 7-day positivity rate for all tests completed. Each county is assigned a color based on the average of scores for the two metrics, and the map is updated each Wednesday at www.coronavirus.in.gov.

The Indiana Department of Health has provided the following guidelines to inform local decision-making. The guidelines should be used when counties are in yellow, orange or red status for at least 14 days. The state health commissioner may impose actions when a county is in red status for at least 14 days.

Communities should use the County Metrics Map to make decisions about their businesses, community and social activities.
