Support Sisterz
Support Sisterz is a non-profit organization comprised of breast cancer survivors that have a passion to empower women who are fighting the same battle.

  • Support Sisterz raises money to assist women that have been recently diagnosed with cancer.
  • They have their annual fundraiser walk in October.
  • Their goal is to empower women from Norco/Corona that have been diagnosed with breast cancer.  
  • They provide gift baskets to those that have been recently diagnosed.  The contents of these baskets are full of love, hope, and items that will help them to get through this journey.  
  • Their desire is to offer financial aid to women in need, and assist in the purchase of wigs and under garments.

I-15 Express Lanes
There will be no closures on the 15 Express Lanes Project from nighttime Wednesday, July 3 to Sunday, July 7, in observance of the Independence Day holiday. Please remember to drive safely as you enjoy the holiday with friends and family!
NIGHTTIME LANE, RAMP & CONNECTOR CLOSURES

Intermittent lane reductions are also scheduled on northbound and southbound 15, between Weirick Rd. and State Route 60, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. weeknights. During lane reductions, at least one lane will remain open at all times.    

The following closures are also scheduled: 

  • Sunday, June 30th, 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. - Northbound 15 to Westbound 91 Express Lanes Connector and General Purpose Lane
  • Monday, July 1st, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. - Eastbound 91 to Northbound 15 Connector / Southbound 15 to Eastbound 91 Loop Connector / Southbound 15 Hidden Valley on-ramp
  • Tuesday, July 2nd, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. & 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. - Eastbound 91 to Northbound / Southbound 15 Connectors / Southbound 15 to Westbound 91 Express Lanes Connector and General Purpose Lane
NEIGHBORING PROJECT: 91 EXPRESS LANES
WEEKEND CLOSURES

Closures are scheduled on the 91 Express Lanes for work at the I-15 toll points in Riverside County. The in-lane toll systems are being updated in preparation for new transponder technology. The closure times are as follows:  
Please use alternate routes, expect delays, and allow extra travel time. Future correspondence related to the availability of the new transponders will be available this summer.
NEIGHBORING PROJECT
Cajalco Rd. / I-15 Interchange Improvement Project:  Full I-15 closures scheduled for Old Cajalco Rd. Bridge demolition from Saturday, June 29 at 9 p.m. to Sunday, June 30 at 9 a.m. Additional ramp and bridge closures also are scheduled as part of this work. Visit i15cajalco.com for closure information. 

Limonite Ave / I-15 Interchange Improvement Project:  The Park and Ride Lot by Limonite Ave. will remain closed through October. Visit i15limonite.org for closure information. 
ABOUT THE PROJECT

The 15 Express Lanes project will add two tolled express lanes in each direction on I-15 between Cajalco Road and SR-60, a distance of approximately 15 miles. Drivers will be able to enter and exit the tolled facility at multiple locations, and the project continues RCTC's ongoing commitment to expand the express lanes network. Construction in the median began in March 2018. The new lanes are expected to open in 2020. 

Due to the dynamic nature of construction, this information is subject to change.

Sixth Street Attracts New Development
Norco residents may have noticed some changes on the southeast corner of Sixth Street and Sierra Avenue...Approximately three acres of land have been cleared in preparation for the development of a new shopping center tentatively called Norco Gateway. Multiple properties were consolidated by Waypoint Development Group to create this opportunity, the largest assembly of land on Sixth Street since the construction of Norco Country Center (anchored by Boot Barn). Virulent Newcastle Disease Update: Quarantine Boundaries Modified in Southern California
California State Veterinarian Dr. Annette Jones today modified Southern California’s quarantine area to further restrict bird movement as work continues to eradicate virulent Newcastle disease (VND). The quarantine mandates the reporting of sick birds and prohibits poultry owners from moving birds in all of Los Angeles County, and in large areas of San Bernardino and Riverside counties. Norco, CA—At its regular meeting on Wednesday, January 16, the Norco City Council voted unanimously to approve a proposed CarMax development on 6.74 acres located off of the I-15 Freeway at the intersection of Second Street and Valley View Avenue.
