Gearing Up for 'Pockets of Progress'
Work Day, Saturday, Oct. 26
Save the date! The Chamber of Commerce, the City of Pauls Valley and the Pauls Valley Ministerial Association joins forces to clean up our city. Together, we can help beautify the city and thereby help make Pauls Valley a more attractive place to live and work.

Bring your favorite tools. Wear hard-toed shoes and sensible clothing. We'll split up into teams to get several targeted jobs done.

We meet at the Santa Fe Depot (downtown) at 9:30 a.m. and work till about 2 p.m. See you there!
Scenes from This Year's BrickFest

Despite a little rain early in the day, this year's BrickFest brought out plenty of foot traffic, filling the downtown area with sights and sounds for all to enjoy.

The Chamber's work to sign on vendors and food trucks was successful. A total of 51 vendors set up booths -- and 6 of those were food providers.

The Chamber also assisted with the annual Pie-Eating Contest and Brick Toss.

A big THANK YOU to our volunteers, including Jimbo Lenk, Walmart Distribution Center; Erin Creach, TSAT Healthy Living Program; and Travis John, TriVan Roofing.
Introducing New Board Members
We've got a few new faces in the 2019-2020 Board of Directors. Joining us as a Voting Director for a 2-year term is Laura Carnagie.

Laura, her husband and their children have lived in Oklahoma for the last 8 years. With a background in fashion design, art and business management, she has spent her life involved in helping to bring out the best in the people and communities where she works and lives.

Laura is involved in various organizations such as the Pauls Valley Arts Council, local schools and church. Rural living brings great blessings and Bar Nunn Ranch, owned by her father, Les Nunn, gives her lots of opportunities to get back in touch with nature on a daily basis. Laura is happy to call Oklahoma home.
Returning to the Chamber Board is Tyler Justice , Reavis Drug. Tyler has racked up numerous years of service to the Chamber starting in 2011. He took a break after his continuous service from 2015 to 2018--including as board chair 2017-18--but we're thankful that he's back now, serving as Voting Director for a 2-year term.

Why North American Trade Is Important
Did you know U.S. trade with Canada and Mexico supports 12 million American jobs? U.S. trade with our North American neighbors has quadrupled in the past 25 years. In fact, a whopping 49 U.S. states count Canada and Mexico as one of their top three merchandise export markets.

Watch the video  to learn why it is so important for lawmakers to preserve and strengthen North American trade by passing the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). American farmers, ranchers, manufacturers, service providers, and workers are counting on it.
