Please Welcome Our Newest Member, Bella Weidner Art!

Living on the coast of Maine, Bella creates conceptual paintings inspired by the textures, scents, and sounds within the rural landscape. Bella pushes the limitations of color through various methods of representation and abstraction. Through gestural brushstrokes, Bella intentionally highlights the beauty of imperfection created by the human hand. Working with water-based media and collage, Bella’s studio practice is a continuous exploration of the natural world.

Bella received her BFA in 2015 from Montserrat College of Art and her MAT in 2017 from Maine College of Art. She has also taken courses in Art Therapy at Endicott College. She has experience teaching art to ages Pre-K to adult. She has worked in a variety of settings including public & private schools, museums, and alternative learning environments. Bella’s teaching practice compliments her studio work. By using a variety of mediums, she explores new concepts and techniques alongside her students. She creates lessons that are process-based and experimental. Visit her brand new gallery and studio in downtown Searsport!

Please Welcome Our Newest Member, Greyfeather Woodcraft!

Greyfeather Woodcraft creates handmade walking sticks from branches and logs sourced right on glorious Islesboro, off the Maine coast. They believe in keeping things simple, so their walking sticks are naturally-dried, hand-sanded and -oiled, and beautifully humble. No two Greyfeather walking sticks are the same, but all are created to accompany you on sojourns through nature and hand down for generations to come.

Greyfeather Woodcraft also offers their signature Islesboro Bench, rustic indoor-outdoor seating perfect for gardens, fire pit and porch seating.
