Royal Theatre
“Sit back and enjoy the show!” For over 100 years -- virtually covering the history of popular cinema in the U.S. – Pauls Valley residents and visitors have been able to do just that thanks to entertainment provided by Royal Theatre.

Today, owner Revae Brewer guides a small crew who handles ticket sales, concession stand sales, promotions, operations and clean-up. Under her watch, the theatre was recognized as the Corporate Citizen of the Year in 2023 by the Pauls Valley Chamber of Commerce.

State of the City Luncheon
Pauls Valley Chamber hosted the 2nd annual State of the City luncheon on January 23. We heard from our City Manager, Lee Litterell, who introduced many of his employees from the Chief of Police Derrick Jolley to the newest employee, Library Director Amber Carter. He gave a very informative report on city responsibilities and efforts.
The first of the Life Planning Series was held on Jan. 11. "Planning for Your Golden Years" was a great event. We had a lot of valuable information regarding senior living, DME, home care, hospice, funeral arrangements, florists and much more. We even had a representative from the Social Security Administration on Zoom and a lady from the Southern Oklahoma Development Association Area Agency on Aging. The original idea for the event came from Katie Johnson of Grant & Katie Johnson CPA. She did an amazing job pulling everything together. Amy Brown of Sooner Home Furnishings also served on the committee and helped with the event. Another positive from the event was we got a new member: Cornerstone Caregiving of Norman.
