Established in 1977 by Tom Opper and artist Beverly Kocenko, Liberty Graphics Fine Tee Shirts is America's original printer of water based inks to print Nature and Science t-shirts.

2021 marked the beginning of a new chapter in the Liberty Graphics story. Liberty Graphics, Incorporated, is now owned and managed entirely by a cooperative made up of its workers. Their intent is to provide the same level of quality, service, and ethical manufacturing that their Founders demanded for over forty years.

Apply for Arts in the Park 2022

Arts in the Park is one of the most respected arts and fine crafts festivals in midcoast Maine. The variety of offerings are outstanding, and live music and the smells of local eats add to the creative atmosphere. The venue is undeniably beautiful, in a large open park on the ocean’s edge, with sailboats nearby and a summer breeze to enjoy.

Artists can apply now for the 2022 Arts in the Park event in Belfast! This year's event will take place June 25 & 26 at Steamboat Landing Park. The 2022 application will be open to full time or seasonal residents of the state of Maine. Applications being accepted now through February 21st. This event is held on city property and smoking is prohibited.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore Giving Tree

Habitat for Humanity of Waldo County is seeking your help to Raise the Roof for a Waldo County ReStore! They are hoping to break ground early summer with a late summer/early fall opening!

Additionally, the Belfast Area Chamber of Commerce Information Center is home to the Holiday ReStore Giving Tree, where you can come in and give a gift towards the ReStore construction! There are giving envelopes on the tree as well as a shopping list that the project will be looking to get for the build. The tree will remain up through January for donations.
