Hello Chamber Members,
The world around us is waking up to the trees bud up and prepare to spring to life, the birds are awake and singing before the sun has risen, the grass is finally green, and the first emerging blooms have begun to grace us with their presence. It's a breath of fresh air that is much needed every year at this time. Especially this year.
We have endured a lot of changes over the last two years. It is just now starting to feel a little more normal, though I don't think it will ever quite be the same. And maybe it shouldn't be.
Our Business After and Before Hours are back up and running on their regular schedule. We are just about to hold our annual award celebration in person for the first time in two years, which is extremely exciting! It feels good to be able to celebrate our accomplishments and the excellence of our membership together, rather than behind a screen.
We also look forward to holding our Chamber Golf Outing on June 10 at Harry Mussatto Golf Course! There should not be any COVID-related protocols to follow this year, assuming nothing changes before now and then.
It feels as though we too are finally waking up after the last two years and it feels good. I hope you are feeling optimistic and are looking forward to joining us at future events!
As always, contact me at any time by emailing lauren@macombareachamber.com or calling the Chamber office at (309) 837-4855. I always welcome your questions, comments, or concerns.

Marketing Director Letter
Hello Chamber Members,
Happy Spring! We're officially all crossing our fingers that the cold, snowy weather is behind us (the Midwest loves to play tricks on us) and most of us are ready to rush full force into all things light and bright! We're cleaning out closets, garages, cabinets, and file drawers to allow ourselves a bit more breathing room - mentally and physically. We're sprucing up our yards, our decor, and our wardrobes to embrace the new season.
So why not do the same for your marketing? I know, new shoes or golf clubs are way more fun than the dreaded "M" word, but Marketing doesn't have to be scary, it doesn't have to take a lot of time, and it doesn't have to cost a lot of money. You pour so much passion into your business and your career, so why not help others fall in love with your product or service too? Still not convinced? I'll leave this list of FREE (seriously FREE!) marketing benefits right here for you; that you can use any time as a Chamber member. And if you see anything you like, I invite you to contact me, and we'll work together on it to create something amazing. Easy as that!
Let's make it a great month!
