Marketing Director Letter
Hello,
Welcome to December! I hope you are all embracing the magic of the holiday season. We are working feverishly like little elves in our office workshop to stamp, date, and print all those Chamber Gift Certificates for you.
In order to save time, we welcome you to call your order in ahead of time and we can get your gift certificates ready for pickup with the payment of your choice. We do pass on a small processing fee to each customer for credit/debit card transactions, but gladly accept cash/checks as well. If you are a Macomb Area Chamber member, we can even invoice your business!
And if you find yourself needing gift certificates on a Saturday, gift certificates can be purchased at the following banks: Citizens Bank, First Bankers Trust, MidAmerica National Bank, Fortress Bank, and United Community Bank.
What we're saying is, we're gonna make purchasing gift certificates as easy as possible. Just call, email, or stop by and we'll take care of you. No hassle, no fuss. We promise.

#keepitinmacomb Bingo
The Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce is introducing the first ever #keepitinmacomb Bingo, a fun, festive way to celebrate all the unique ways our community thinks, lives, and loves local. More than just holiday shopping, participants have a chance to do positive things for themselves, support local businesses, and give back to their neighbors and friends this holiday season. It is the hope of the Chamber that this fun game which started on November 26, Small Business Saturday, and ends with a grand prize drawing on December 20, might just spark a love for all things local every day of the year. Find your Bingo card and rules below, pick one up in our office, or look for them to hit area businesses where available. Happy Holidays!

Business After Hours/Business Before Hours |

Business After Hours is held monthly from 4:30-6 pm at a different member business location each month. This event allows members an opportunity to meet and network with fellow business leaders. There are always drawings and winnings, making for a wonderful mix of business and pleasure at the end of a work day.
Business Before Hours is held quarterly from 8-9 am. This event gives our members another opportunity for networking in the morning. Perfect for those that might have a full agenda after work!

Ambassadors
The Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Committee serve as the public relations arm of the Chamber. They enhance the image of our business community and the organization by presenting a positive and professional attitude at Chamber events and throughout their interactions with the business community. These 20+ volunteers are the ultimate Chamber cheerleaders.

The Young Professionals of Macomb (YPM) is a group brought together by the Macomb Area Chamber of Commerce that seeks to provide young professionals foundational steps toward their new or existing careers. With this new resurgence we have curated opportunities for members to gain professional and educational resources from successful professionals within the community that they can integrate into their work spaces. While also fostering time for members to network, engage and share ideas amongst themselves. Membership is free and open to any interested professional in the community that ranges from ages 20 to 40. |

Cassady Martial Arts Academy: The Ambassador Committee of the Macomb Area Chamber held a ribbon cutting on November 30 for Cassady Martial Arts Academy—Royce Gracie Jiu Jitsu Macomb (1601 W. Jackson St., Ste 202). Owners Michelle and Andy Cassady and staff are dedicated to changing the lives of people one individual at a time; with a full range of martial arts, Jiu Jitsu, self-defense, and fitness activities for all ages and abilities. With an emphasis on character development matched with practical tactics, the studio provides a safe, highly sanitized environment to empower participants through martial arts, education, and coaching.
