Hello Chamber Members,
May is over in the blink of an eye and I can hardly believe it’s already June! I am looking forward to a little less rain and a little more heat. Especially on June 10 when we hit the green for our Chamber Golf Outing, sponsored by MTC Communications!
Registration is still open if you’re looking to set up a team, but you need to sign up ASAP to ensure you reserve your spot! We have lined up a ton of fun, swag, and great food! The day includes a hot breakfast courtesy of Sodexo, a Chubby’s catered lunch courtesy of MidAmerica National Bank, premium snacks courtesy of Farm King (did someone say beef jerky and nuts!?), Bloody Mary’s mixed up for every golfer courtesy of Countryview Care Center of Macomb, refreshments courtesy of Refreshment Services Pepsi, adult beverage carts courtesy of State Farm Tom Conklin and Terrill Title Co., golf balls courtesy of iDoc Device Repair, and sunscreen courtesy of McDonough District Hospital. There are also several showcase tee’s with drinks, snacks, and games!
I know I am looking forward to a fun day with all of you! Breakfast and sign-in starts at 8 am and the shotgun start is at 9 am. Register now at bit.ly/chambergolf22.

Marketing Director Letter
Hello Chamber Members,
It's officially Summer! Some of us may be ready to slow down a bit, work a bit less, unplug a bit more, and take that long-awaited vacation. Go for it, you've earned it!!
While you are gone, our office will be open and ready to help promote you and your business when you get back. I love to take the warm months to do some digital updates to your business directory listings - to ensure we have all the right contact information, logos, websites, and descriptions so that everyone can find you when they need you.
The Summer season calendar is bursting with community-wide events, family activities, festivals, concerts, and more - take a look at macombareachamber.com/events for all the action happening right in your own neighborhood. And feel free to share your events with us so we can get it added to the mix for you.
The Summer slow down can also be the perfect time to make a new career move or finally hire that bit of extra employee you need - take a look at macombareachamber.com/jobs and discover quality positions right here in the immediate area. Again, feel free to send your job opportunities our way so we can help you find your ideal candidate.
The Summer is also the perfect time to remember all those helpers in your life - pet sitters, house sitters, baby sitters, yard crew, or whoever is in your life to make the season just a bit more relaxing for you. What better way to say "Thank You!" than with Chamber Gift Certificates. They never expire, they're good at over 144 local businesses, and you can buy them in any amount - Win! Win Win! Find them for purchase at the Chamber Office, Citizens Bank, First Bankers Trust, MidAmerica National Bank, Fortress Bank, and United Community Bank. Find out more at macombareachamber.com/chamber-gift-certificates.
And if you find your Summer workload busier than ever, we're here for that too; ready to meet you wherever you are on your to-do list.
My contact information is below and I encourage you to use it as many times as you need to; I promise no idea is too small or no question is too weird. That's what I, and the Macomb Area Chamber, are here for; to help you find the resources and information you need to be your best business self.
Let's make it a great month!
