Co-Chairman Jennifer Brown awards Rocketeria (a coffee and arcade shop) at 386 East State Street, the winner of this year’s “Best Window Display” for Salem’s Super Cruise Weekend. “Owners Michael & Gayle Johnston, who opened their business just three weeks ago, wanted to be a part of this great weekend. They went all out with their “Cruise” theme display, as well as on the inside” said Brown.  “We are thrilled to be in Salem. Residents and neighboring business owners have been very welcoming, We chose Salem to open our business, because Salem is on an upswing for generating new downtown businesses. We put our own blood, sweat and tears into renovating this building and feel we are a really good fit. ” said Gayle Johnston.
