The purpose of the T.C. Resource Fair held Thursday, July 21 at the Rocky Mount Event Center, was to Educate, Empower, and Elevate a better understanding of the importance of making good decisions in life.
Mr. Terry T. Ruffin, an author and motivational speaker, shared a powerful message about his life experiences in order to inspire others.
Connecting with available community resources, inquiring about job opportunities and networking with community organizers was the end result of the resource fair.
Door prizes were given and talks are being made to provide another Resource Fair in the next 6 months. Stay tuned for more info.
The event was sponsored by Cummins of Rocky Mount, Rocky Mount Chamber of Commerce, the Rocky Mount Human Relations Department, and the Rocky Mount Police Department.
