All Together Now!, a musical revue created by Music Theatre International, is going to take the stage at the Capitol Civic Centre this weekend. The Masquers, in collaboration with Treehouse Theater, will be joining with over 2,500 other theater groups worldwide to celebrate the return of local theater following nearly two years of little or no live performances.

All Together Now! features songs from MTI’s beloved catalogue of musicals including Sister Act, Come From Away, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Fiddler on the Roof, Guys and Dolls, Newsies, Les Misérables, Into the Woods, Once on This Island, Rent and many more!

MTI’s President and CEO, Drew Cohen stated, “MTI’s All Together Now! is about bringing people back to the theatre, whether as audience members or cast, crew and musicians. The revue features songs from the world’s most iconic musicals, so there is definitely something for everyone to enjoy. Our goal with this worldwide event is for organizations to provide hope, inspiration and excitement to their communities through the transformative power of musical theatre.

Karen Rohrer, the Executive Director of Treehouse Theater and Producer of ATN!, along with Luan Leonardelli, the President of the Masquers and Director of ATN!, have been working together with their team to create a show that will signal to the entire lakeshore area the triumphant return of live theater to the Capitol Civic Centre stage.

According to members of the team, “It’s going to be a very exciting event for everyone involved.”

The cast of this show is made up of 38 local artists who are no strangers to both Masquers and Treehouse productions along with local musicians who will accompany several of the songs. The production will also include introductions from local celebrities who will relate their experiences in local theater.

Director Leonardelli’s vision for the show is to thank our audiences for their support both past and present. Many of the songs from “Be Our Guest” to “Why We Tell the Story” are presented with that thought in mind. She is certain that all who attend will be tapping their feet and humming these familiar tunes all the way home.

“I just think this is a fabulous way to open our season and I’m thrilled that Masquers is sharing this event with Treehouse Theater”, Leonardelli stated, “the only thing that would make this better would be to sell out for every performance.”
