2023 Chamber Annual Meeting and Dinner was a success!

It was great getting to know our hard working local small business owners.

A big heartfelt "thank you" to all the businesses who donated items to our live and silent auctions! Your generous donations allows us to continue to promote and serve Chamber members and foster a strong economic climate here in Concord!

Congratulations again to our 2023 Business Person of the Year, Kevin Thomas Plodzik.

Our honoree writes…

Greetings to my Chamber colleagues as I thankfully rely on the Newsletter to convey this message.

I send forth my full and hearty grateful sentiments to each of you for the honored experience at last Wednesday’s Annual. Under the efficient and non-intrusive on-site overseeing of Pam Reed and Beth Willams, clipboards in hand, the Event was flawless all around. Highly evident was with what I am familiar: much intensely focused planning and preparation by so many of you folks, resulting in what we experienced, and for which our gratitude is unbounded.

Fondest appreciation goes forth first of all to the Chamber Officers and Directors - special colleagues and friends over many years and continuing - who, as tradition has it, spearhead the selection progress. You’re doing so honored me in a way never projected. Your affirmation was overwhelming. The legislative proclamations, with Representative Simon Cataldo in attendance, are to be treasured. The descriptive introductions by Marie and John E remain vivid. The email greeting sent in by none other than Barrett Sotheby’s Laurie Cadigan and containing a photo of her in underwater explorations of the Great Barrier Reef was unique and so gratifying.  The auctioneering skills of Bobbi Benson and Glenn Burlamachi were fully demonstrated.

The membership - many of you I have comfortably and welcoming come to know and to be in association with- who were present that evening and so many other members further substantiate for me the distinction bestowed.

The highly evident support of Barrett Sotheby’s visible in its lead sponsorship, its leadership, and colleagues underscores the strength and value that we know in that brand.

The encouraging presence of the Board of The Friends of Sleepy Hollow Cemetery and all the supporters whom they represent further enhanced the Event’s meaning.

Indeed, the experiences and connections that are reflected are most valued in their meaning.

I wish to all of you, ongoing, deserved success in what your Missions stand for.

Margaret joins me in these sentiments.

Cordially and gratefully,

Kevin T.
