Maryland Department of Commerce Invites Penacity to InfoSecurity Europe 2019
Penacity, LLC was invited by the Maryland Department of Commerce to delegate at the InfoSecurity Europe 2019 Conference . They will be co-exhibiting with five other companies from Maryland. The conference—Europe’s leading information security conference—attracts more than 19,500 attendees annually from across the globe.

During the London visit, Midlands Engine will host the Maryland delegation for dinner, strengthening the relationship between Maryland and the Midlands region, a premier cybersecurity cluster in the UK.
“Maryland’s participation in InfoSec Europe is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to promote the state as a center of research, innovation, and opportunity in cybersecurity in the US and abroad; to encourage UK cyber companies to consider a Maryland location; and open to international markets for Maryland companies,” said Maryland Department of Commerce. Penacity, LLC will represent Maryland and all its businesses with pride!
Ananta Hejeebu Receives
Leadership Howard County's
Distinguished Alumni Award
Ananta Hejeebu will receive the Distinguished Alumni award, which recognizes a Leadership Howard County graduate who has worked to better the community. In addition to serving Grace Community Church and coaching local sports teams, Hejeebu supports local organizations including the Howard County Autism Society, Community Foundation of Howard County and Salvation Army. Hejeebu recently served on the Howard County Board of Education and is a managing partner with Howard Tech Advisors. He graduated from Leadership Howard County’s Leadership Premier program in 2008.
Leadership Howard County, which seeks to empower leaders to strengthen and transform the community, will recognize program alumni for their service to Howard County at the organization’s Annual Dinner and Graduation. The event will take place June 11th from 5:00pm to 8:45pm at the Ten Oaks Ballroom in Clarksville, Maryland.
Howard Bank Launches
Local Business Competition
Howard Bank wants to know what your favorite local business is.
And, if enough other people like it too, that company could take home the $10,000 prize Howard Bank is offering up to the winner of its new "Keep it Local" contest.
The Baltimore bank is accepting nominations for its competition, which seeks to identify the favorite small business in Greater Baltimore. Community members have until May 24 at 11:59 p.m. to nominate businesses located within Baltimore City, or Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Cecil, Harford and Howard counties.
