The 115 th Annual Gala celebrates community and volunteers
The Chamber brings back friendly table decorating competition among guests

The 115 th Annual Gala will celebrate the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce’s new collaboration with Golden West College on Friday, May 17 from 6 – 10 p.m. The fundraiser’s theme is Resort Casino, encouraging guests to decorate their table after their favorite location and participate in the friendly décor competition among other guests. 

The Gala is a casino-themed fundraising event promote business networking, celebrate community involvement, and honor the hard work of chamber volunteers, featuring dinner and a night of music, dancing, raffles, auctions, a photobooth, blackjack, poker, roulette, and craps. All proceeds benefit the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce, a 501(c)6 non-profit organization dedicated to helping business grow, serving the visibility needs of Huntington Beach businesses, promoting a thriving economy, and fostering a strong sense of community.

Event proceeds go toward the organization’s goals in terms of programming geared toward business education and development.

“Curating new educational opportunities in Huntington Beach is a huge focus of ours during this period,” Interim CEO John Hobson said. “This action gives us the unique privilege of facilitating a more viable, long-term economy for our community.”

Most funds raised at chamber events come from raffle ticket purchases and auction item sales. The chamber is currently seeking support through sponsorships, raffle and silent auction item donations, program advertisements and attendance. Attendees can capitalize on early ticket promotions offering their business or organization additional visibility when they purchase four tickets or more before May 10.

This event is open to the public with early registration ticket price set at $125 through May 10, which includes food service and $50 worth of gaming chips for the tables. Late registration tickets will be $175.
