Community Development Department
  • Golden Road Brewery coming to Huntington Beach - Golden Road Brewery was recently approved by the Zoning Administrator to establish a restaurant and brewery in the Peter's Landing retail center located at 16390 Pacific Coast Highway. The new brewery will occupy approximately 9,000 square feet of restaurant/brewery space, with almost 1,000 square feet of open are patio area along the marina-front of the retail center.
  • Raising Cane's at Brookhurst and Adams - Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers Restaurant submitted an application to establish a drive-thru restaurant at 10142 Adams Avenue in the Stater Bros. shopping center next to Woody's Diner. It is anticipated that the hearing before the Zoning Administrator will be scheduled in late April, with an expected opening in 2020.

  • The Webify kick-off meeting hosted by the Office of Business Development last Wednesday in the Council Chambers had an impressive turnout of 21 participants. Led by the Orange County Inland Empire Small Business Development Center, participants were introduced to the program which consists of four additional classes focused on e-commerce and how to increase their business online presence.
