Spring in the White Lake Area always seems to arrive at the perfect time. After the chilly months of winter, many are eager for sunshine and longer days, and our area sure delivers!
These spring months ahead are the perfect time to plan home, yard, or garden projects. It's a great time to check your home filters, smoke alarms, air conditioning units, etc. In other words, the things we may not be thinking about all year. Luckily, our area has a vast and diverse business community who can help with those things. When looking at spring projects ahead, be sure to check out our local businesses who can get the job done.
Our area shops and restaurants get the same spring fever that many of you are familiar with, so they are open and eager to welcome you. Spring is a great time to check out a shop, restaurant, or brewery that you've never been to, or one you haven't been to in a while.
If you've been a part of the White Lake Area for any period of time, you know our parks and trails are great in any season--but spring is when we start to see them come alive. Take some time to enjoy the multitude of parks and trails our area has to offer. It's also a great time for fishing (our area has that covered in any season), whether on your own or through one of our great charters.
Spring months bring back some of our businesses that have been closed for their off-season, or they shift into new spring schedules and activities. Weesies Brothers Garden Center & Landscaping is back open for their season. Lewis Adventure Farms & Zoo will be open May 17, along with the White River Light Station will be open May 21. Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park shifts from winter activities, to activities such as zip line, archery, and hiking. Michigan's Adventure opening weekend will be May 24. Happy Mohawk Canoe Livery reopens Memorial Day weekend. Our beautiful golf courses are coming back to their active seasons as well. These activities are just to name a few--click here for more ideas.
As you enjoy spring over the next few months, we hope we've given you some new ideas to soak in all that our area has to offer.
