Williston Startups on Record Setting Pace
Williston Economic Development - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce (WACC), Williston Economic Development (WED) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) have seen a record setting number of new businesses popping up so far this year. The Chamber gauges new business development by the number of ribbon cuttings they host each year. Rachel Richter Lordemann, President of the WACC, said so far in 2021 they have held 19 ribbon cuttings. That is the largest number she’s seen in the five years she has served the Chamber. Read More

701 Kids relocates to Badlands Town Center
A ribbon cutting was held on Tuesday, June 29 at the Badlands Town Center for 701 Kids. The boutique, owned by Dani Adkins, sells clothing for children ranging from newborn to size 16. 701 Kids is located at 910 42nd St. W. in Suite 426, next to Little Caesar's.

Dent Source opens in Williston
A ribbon cutting was held on Wednesday, June 30 at Dent Source in Williston. The automotive dent repair business was originally started in Oklahoma in 2000. The Williston branch is located behind the Upper Missouri Valley Fairgrounds at 5395 13th Ave. NW.

Exhale Yoga moves to Downtown Williston
Williston Economic Development - A ribbon cutting was held at Exhale Yoga and Wellness on Friday, June 25. Owner Kari Hauge recently moved her yoga studio from the Harvest Plaza to 125 Main St., Unit D, in the Renaissance On Main building. To register for Exhale classes visit the Mindbody App.

Williston Economic Development - Integrity Auto & Diesel Repair celebrated a ribbon cutting at its new location on Friday, June 25. The business is now located south of Western Veterinary Clinic at 4989 140th Ave. NW. The locally owned shop has more than 40 years of combined automotive experience.

MCHS Orthopedic Clinic opens in Downtown Williston
A ribbon cutting was held Tuesday, June 29 to celebrate the grand opening of the new McKenzie County Healthcare Systems Orthopedic Clinic in Williston. Dr. Ravindra Joshi-FAAOS, FRCSC, and Angela Ekblad, FNP-BC, will provide services at the new clinic. The Orthopedic Clinic is located in the lower level of Fairlight Medical Center at 3 4th St. E. in Downtown Williston.

WSC Nursing Students may pursue Four-year Degree through NDSU's Online Program
News Release - Williston State College and North Dakota State University School of Nursing are collaborating to create a seamless transition for WSC students with two-year nursing degrees to pursue their Bachelor of Science in nursing degrees through NDSU’s completely online RN to BSN program. “NDSU and WSC are both excited to launch this partnership,” said WSC President John Miller. Williston Mayor helps commemorate Great Western Cattle Trail near Fort Buford
Sidney Herald - Historians, elected officials, members of the media and area residents gathered at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center near Fort Buford to dedicate an obelisk commemorating the Great Western Trail that saw millions of cattle driven from Mexico to Canada before the advent of the railroad. The Fort Buford event marks the final obelisk to be placed in North Dakota. Read More
