Welcome to 2026 - a brand new year and a fresh start!

Thank you for continuing to invest in the Chamber and in our business community. Your engagement and support make our work possible, and we’re excited about the opportunities ahead for connection, learning, and growth.

As we kick off the new year, you’ll notice our monthly Chamber Tracks newsletter in a new format. We’d love to hear what you think – please send us your feedback! Director@ofallonchamber.com

In the next week or so, we’ll be opening nominations for our Salute to Business Awards. Ever wonder why a particular business has never received an award? Sometimes it’s simply because they were never nominated. Take a few minutes to think about a business that deserves recognition for its economic impact, transformation, or heritage. We love details, but don’t let that stop you - you can always just email me the name of the business you’d like to nominate. Our Salute to Business Awards will once again be “A Taste of” event and will take place on April 16, so be sure to save the date!

Below you’ll find our Chamber by the Numbers. Take a look and see just how awesome we - you! - are. You signed up, you showed up, and it shows. Let’s keep that momentum going in 2026.

I recently came across a quote I’ve written in my planner: “Thrive, don’t just survive.” Through our professional development opportunities and regular programming, we’re here to help you and your business thrive. Just as important, don’t forget to take care of yourself. Self-care matters, and we’re fortunate to have so many Chamber member businesses ready to support you there, too, so that you thrive as an individual.

Here’s to a strong start and a great year ahead. There’s something energizing about a fresh calendar (!) and new possibilities!

Business Track Insights | Build a Buzz on a Budget: How to Get People Talking About Your Business Online

If people aren’t talking about your business online, it doesn’t mean you’re not great at what you do. In fact, there are lots of businesses doing incredible work but not getting mentioned, reviewed or shared.

Start Strong, Stay Strong: The Case for Doing Hard Things

Your January reality check: The calendar flipped, but your to-do list didn't get the memo. You're still solving the same problems and wondering when you're supposed to fit "take care of yourself" between everyone else's demands

Oh, and that resolution? Already competing with 47 other priorities. Sound familiar?

The Guilt Trap

Here's what nobody tells you about fitness in January: The problem isn't information. You already know what to do. Move more. Eat better. Groundbreaking stuff.

The real problem? Taking 30 minutes for yourself feels selfish when the list never ends. Someone always needs you. Another fire won't put itself out. That guilt is lying to you.

What If "Hard" Is the Point?

What if the same discipline that gets you through difficult conversations and impossible deadlines could work for your health too?

This article unpacks:

  • Why we've been thinking about "hard" all wrong
  • The guilt trap keeping busy professionals stuck
  • What actually works when motivation runs out
  • How discipline transfers—you've already built the muscle

The Honest Truth

This isn't a hack. No 4-minute miracle. You've done hard things before. You do them every day for other people. This is about doing one more. For yourself.

Because the people counting on you...they need you at your best—not whatever's left.

Chamber by the Numbers

Our Chamber by the Numbers gives you a bird’s-eye view of the overall health of our Chamber. We continue to be ranked as the 9th largest Chamber in the region by the St. Louis Business Journal.

More importantly, these numbers tell a powerful story. They show just how active and engaged our members are. Every ribbon cut, handshake, and cup of coffee represents real relationships and real impact. We held steady through challenging COVID times and are once again on track for growth - because our members consistently show up and participate.

Thank you for being part of a Chamber that shows up.
