Country Express


Country Express of Mena, located at 1146 HWY 71 South, is a convenience store that has been in operation since 1990, with new ownership as of 2021. Offerings at Country Express include typical convenience store items such as candy and snacks, fuel stations, and a full-service hot deli with excellent barbecue.

The new owners of Country Express would like to continue to offer great customer service along with quality products and great food. Although new owners may have purchased the long-time business, you’ll no doubt continue to see familiar faces among the staff. Tuny Hunt leads the staff and will continue the customer service that makes Country Express so special.

Elementary Easter EggStravaganza Arts Display Contest Winners!
Winners of the Elementary Easter Egg Coloring Contest show off their posters made from their egg sheets along with their chocolate Easter bunny! This was a great activity hosted by Mena Downtown Partners. Original coloring sheets of many of the students have been on display in downtown business windows, so please check out the talent of our local elementary students.

WHY? To offer the public the opportunity to purchase healthy plants and garden-related gifts, just in time for Mothers’ Day.

ADMISSION IS FREE!
Plants have been dug from our own local gardens, so will be completely acclimated to our local conditions. They will be labeled for placement in sun or in shade. Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer your questions about the plants and their care.

Please bring cash or check only. No credit or debit cards will be accepted.
Face masks and hand sanitizer will be available, and social distancing will be encouraged.

The successful Territory Sales Consultant is a professional, goal-driven "people person" who is an active, knowledgeable member of the community. The Consultant is responsible for promoting blood drive programs to community leaders and groups, companies and businesses, educational groups, churches, and other civic and community groups.
A candidate must be customer-focused and possess experience with sales and event planning. This position is responsible for recruiting new donor groups and expanding existing accounts for established territory. As such, the Consultant will plan, organize and promote effective and exciting events and presentations to share Arkansas Blood Institute's mission. He/She is expected to develop and assess a strategy to achieve assigned collection goals and meet performance metrics.
Considered applicants must have 1-3 years sales related experience. Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Location: Fort Smith, AR
Days: Monday through Friday; some weekends
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; some evenings

  • Plans work schedule efficiently to maximize the number of sales calls and minimize expense
  • Prepares and submits reports of data used for planning
  • Maintain data integrity within account records
