The America The Beautiful decorating project is a special way to celebrate July 4th, honor our heritage, those who have fought for our country and all who have worked to make our country strong.

Decorate your business in a patriotic theme. Fly an American flag, hang red, white and blue bunting and add other creative touches.

Please have decorations in place for The Promenade on July 1.

To celebrate Juneteenth and promote HUEman kinship and kindness in our diverse local communities, AWỌ is pleased to present on June 26 and June 27 our inaugural HUEmankind Fest, a two-day FREE groundbreaking festival bringing together unheard voices from local communities to unpack the different shades of our shared HUEmanity. 

We invite everyone to hear the unheard stories of our neighbors, especially those who are African-American, refugees and immigrants of color. Join us to help complete the whole story of our HUEmanity.

Healing Through Humor
The irreverent Warriors Silkies Hikes are a series of therapeutic events across the nation design to prevent veteran suicide by brining veterans together using humor and camaraderie to improve mental health.

The hikes are non-athletic event that are between 4-10 miles and paced at 2-3 miles per hour. There will be frequent stops for fellowship and food/beverages.
