The theme this year for Volunteer Week is The Value of One. The Power of Many. This rings true for our SO Chamber and so many nonprofits in our region who are powered by volunteers. Thank you to all of you! #itmatters

Over the years we have had many dedicated individuals step forward to volunteer their time to support our Chamber and help the businesses in our network succeed. Thank you to all of our Board Members who have put the time, energy and efforts in to help build stronger communities here in the South Okanagan since the 1940's.

SO Chamber receives funding for
Small Business Recovery Advisor Position
We are happy to report that our SO Chamber was a successful applicant for funding to hire a Rural Business Recovery Advisor through ETSI-BC (Economic Trust of the Southern Interior) and with support from the Province of British Columbia. This is a one year temporary contract position and the person will be working collaboratively with our Chamber Team to provide a variety of support services to businesses in our South Okanagan Chamber region.

We are thankful and excited to have more resources to be able to help our communities navigate our way through COVID Recovery. We will begin recruiting immediately and will share more information with you once a candidate is chosen.
