MEMBER OF THE MONTH

|
|
Coe Law Office, S.C. has been in a continuous operation serving Barron County since 1888. Over the years our firm has had a number of different members and various firm names but has been continuously managed by members of four generations of the Coe family, Clarence C. Coe (1888 to 1936), Laurence C. Coe (1936 to 1958), Edward J. Coe (1958 to 1997) and Mark (1997 to present).
We are excited to announce that April 2017, Attorney Jonathan R. Cusky joined the firm. Jon grew up in Spooner, WI and graduated from Spooner High School. Jon attended UW-Eau Claire as an undergraduate and Michigan State University Law School. After obtaining his JD degree, Jon entered private practice in Wyoming, MN for three years and then with a larger firm in St. Paul, MN for the past nine years. Jon is married to Geri and they are expecting their first child in August. We welcome Jon and his family to the firm and community.
Our firm serves Northwest Wisconsin are in a variety of legal matters, including family law, divorce, guardianship, business, real estate transactions, boundary and easement issues, estate planning, probate, and civil litigation, to name a few. We are proud to serve the Rice Lake community for their legal needs.

Bert's Poem of the Month
A beetle married an angle worm.
An accident cut the worm in two.
The beetle was charged with bigamy.
Now what could the poor
Beetle do?
There is a moral to this little story,
It really sets my mind to giggle.
One should never fall in
love,
With something that has a wiggle!
