Town: Serve on a Board, Commission, or Committee
Are you looking for a way to make a difference in the community and get more involved with local government? The Town has volunteer opportunities available on its various adult Boards and Commissions. The 2025 Annual Adult Commission recruitment is now open. The application deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 17. Interviews are scheduled for Monday, Nov 24, in the Town Council Chambers beginning at 5:15 p.m. Click here for more information.

National: Small-Business Sentiment Declines, Inflation Back in Focus
NFIB’s small-business optimism fell to 98.8 in September, and its uncertainty index hit 100 (4th-highest in 51 years).
