Dear Friends and Members of the Chamber,
This Saturday, September 6, North Santa Cruz Avenue will come alive for Taste of Los Gatos, our town’s only street festival and the Chamber’s largest signature event of the year. With no Fall Wine Walk this season, this is the event of the fall. The day will showcase the best of our town’s culinary talent, with live music, track-ready Porsches on display, a craft-beer tap truck, and a Family Fun Zone. At the heart of it all is the Tasting Wristband—your pass to enjoy gourmet bites and exceptional wines. Wristbands are expected to sell out early, so please secure yours in advance at the presale price.
Signature events such as Taste of Los Gatos strengthen our local business ecosystem by inviting people to discover the charm and hospitality of Los Gatos. When visitors experience what makes our town unique, they often return again and again. To sustain this momentum year-round, the Chamber champions anchor projects that draw regional visitors and create lasting opportunities for small businesses. With the anticipated opening of the RH Gallery & Restaurant, Los Gatos is positioned to elevate its retail and dining profile even further. This project represents a clear vote of confidence in our future—broadening the customer base for local businesses, generating enduring economic vitality, and reinforcing Los Gatos’ reputation as both timeless and forward-looking.
At the end of this month, the Chamber will complete updates for our 2026 edition of the Los Gatos Destination Guide. Chamber members should review their membership profile and contact information to ensure accurate listings in the Business Directory section of the Guide.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to celebrating with you at Taste of Los Gatos!
Warmly,
Jennifer Lin
Chief Executive Officer
Los Gatos Chamber of Commerce

Regional: Court Clears County Sales Tax for November Ballot
A judge has allowed Santa Clara County’s Measure A, a 0.625% sales tax hike, to appear on the November 4, 2025 ballot. Expected to raise $330 million annually for five years to offset federal healthcare funding cuts, the measure survived legal challenges over bias and ballot timing, with the court upholding the county’s fiscal emergency declaration. It requires only a simple majority to pass. Click here for more information.

National: Tariff Ruling Could Open Door to Billions in Business Refunds
A federal appeals court ruled that President Trump overstepped his authority by using emergency powers to impose sweeping tariffs on goods from nearly every country. The decision, now on hold pending appeal to the Supreme Court, could lead to billions in refunds to businesses if upheld, setting up a major test of executive power versus congressional oversight.
