Toledo City Council to vote on Regional Water Commission ballot proposal

At its regular meeting at 4:00 p.m. today, Toledo City Council is expected to vote on Resolution 289-18 which would place on the November 6 ballot Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz’s proposed changes to the City Charter for creation of a Regional Water Commission.

The Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce continues to advocate for a regionally-developed solution such as the Toledo Area Water Authority, or TAWA. The TAWA plan would create a regional water district governed by a board of representatives from Toledo and its current customer communities with no one single community having the ability to dictate policy for the entire system.

Clambake Presented by PNC Attended by 700 Members

Our largest event of the year was a huge success. 700 members enjoyed an atmosphere that can’t be beat and feasted on a buffet full of lobster, clams, mussels and shrimp, followed by chocolate pot de crème and crème brulee.

“The Clambake is one of our favorite events because it’s a chance to see friends and colleagues while enjoying a delicious meal, networking and listening to great music,” says Bill McDonald PNC Regional President for Toledo.
